Disclaimers, Confessions & Sex Rehab

Last Night
I gave him the disclaimer twice...“no sex”...he said he just wanted to hold me (yeah right...) so, against my better judgment I went over there....because...well because, he wore me down. He’s been asking daily for I don’t know how long and technically it was not cheating, seeing as how I broke it off with Klein before I went to the Islands....so I was super single.

Once we got to his house, I asked him for shorts because I forgot pj’s (ummm who wears pj’s anymore?). He’s awkwardly trying to figure out which way to lay. We leave the t.v. on, he pulls me close & I have restless sleep, pretty much the whole night. Somewhere between me dreaming of beaches & rum punch and 6:30am, he starts kissing me, and tries to eat my “muffin”...I clutch my shorts and SHUT IT DOWN...

In the Morning:

Me: I thought you said you weren’t going to try anything?

Mr. H: You seemed restless, I just wanted to help you sleep better

In Other News:
Yes, Klein & I are not together. I got so fucking frustrated with him, I gave him the deuces via text (don’t sue me, I tried to call him and he didn’t answer so I had no choice....), and boarded a plane to paradise for 4 days, thereby cutting off all phone communication with him. Guess he was salty about it, because he tried to take shots at me on Facebook.....oh well, once a child, always a child.

The longer story of why I broke up with him will follow soon

In Other Other News
Guess you can tell by my sporadic postings, that the life of a grad student is about to ensue...not sure how demanding it will be, but I’m sure dating and debauchery will be on the back-burner...I’ll try to stick around & blog about the crazy-ness....this isn’t my last post...just a disclaimer.

you're the homie and all but you can't call him childish if you broke up with him via text and then disappeared for 4 days.

@ TUNDE- under normal circumstances I would agree...as said I tried to call him first. oh and he knew I was going out of town....long story, I shall blog on it later

I enjoy your blog but this last post troubles me... you broke up with dude shortly after his mother died, via text, then disappeared for 4 days? wow.

@ Anon & (Tunde) Hmmm, I'm sure it sounds harsh, but it's more to it than that... So, ok, I stuck by him through his whole Mom thing (whatever he wanted/needed I was there), making x amount of drives/trips back & forth (his fam doesn't live here), etc... and almost a month after his mom passed away, I lost a family member (my Aunt to be exact)... I flew home for the funeral...Klein did not call me not once to 1) see if I made it home, 2) see if me & my fam were ok, or 3) to see when I was coming back or to console me...

Immediately upon making it back I text him (because his phone is out of service AGAIN) he doesn't respond... low & behold 5 hours later, guess who I run into.... Klein, at the store....and the 1st thing out of his mouth isn't "how was your flight, or your family, or sorry I got your text & didn't respond, or even, I missed you baby".... it was some bullshit about him getting into a fight at work the night before....

And you know what, that incident, and the one's before that weren't even the straw that broke the camels back...

He knew I was going out of town for almost two months...so really me breaking up with him before a left is nothing. Via text, maybe a little insensitive, but after the store incident (and even before) there were other problems...

And as I said before I tried to call him. He did not answer or return my call... so text it was

yea. you did the right thing by getting rid of klien. i was rooting for him but he seemed TOO childish and couldnt not handle mature situations.

BUT...Mr. H...you might as well make him your boo! Hes like the itch that just wont go away :)

Hey Diva,

What is about ex boos that keep you wanting but not wanting more. I can't seem to shake the Spaniard and I'm quite sure if presented with the same situation I probably would have given in...I have very very little will power.

Now the whole Klein thing it sounds like the text was more than reasonable, deuces!

A text message?

Damn.

Yeah as someone who just finished his master's degree, it will take up alot of your time if you want to really take advantage of all the opportunities graduate school presents.

@ Anon - double no to succumbing to Mr. H...

@ Chaotically - well with the new development Sunday, I'm wondering was it really that bad... like I can just keep him around for extracurricular activities....hmmmm, maybe not

@ Nick - Thanks for the condolences. My family was at peace with it, b/c she had some serious health problems & had been in pain for the last few months.

As far as Grad School goes, I'm trying to stay on the ball, started reading 3 weeks before class even started

@ Reggie - I had no choice

@ Anon - dually noted. I plan on taking advantage of all of the opportunities

As someone that broke up with with a woman via text message...I'm the last person to thrown a stone. I could feel your frustration through your words on the screen.
