Hookah, Jello Shots & NY

As you know, my weekends start on Thursday, and what’s a weekend without Brian??? Thursday night, Brian, myself & one of his college friends hung out like the apocalypse was coming. We started off at a Hookah bar, the next thing you know, we stumbled upon Karaoke, then some dive-ish looking place that was playing hip hop. Brian & I ended up hanging till almost 3am. I was hurting the next day, seeing as how I had to be up & out the house by 6am...and all he had to was catch a flight. I won’t let him talk me into staying out that late anymore on a work night. I was so tired and out-of it on Friday I stayed in.

Saturday, I made my way to NY. When I thought about it, I hadn’t been to NY since Island Prince was here back in September! P.A.T.T. and I had a blast. Bar hopping by NYU, feeding jello shots to unsuspecting guys at the bar, dancing to Prince at the Groove, and jumping up and down like some college girls to some unknown rock cover band, to music we didn’t know the words to (and probably never heard of), and walking in the door at 4am! Good times.

Last night, when I got back I was supposed to hang out with Jason. He ended up canceling which I was ok with, since I was still recovering. We are going to the movies today. It’s not a date, but it will be our first time hanging out since we went to Happy Hour. I’ll let you know how it goes.

In Other News:

Thursday night, Mr. Henry tried to get me to come over his house. We exchanged tons of sext (risqué texts) messages, only for me to turn him down. I know, somewhat of a tease right? Earlier Thursday, I seen him after work, and a few hours later, he called me, to tell me how deliciously nice, he thought I looked. I’ve been turning him down since early March, and he’s still trying...hmmm.

The Tools haven’t let-up. In total last week, between the two of them, I received thirty-something text messages, and I don’t remember how many calls....it’s always the one’s you wouldn’t touch with a 10foot pole....ugh. So annoying.

I know! Why are mofos that ain't all that (read: losers) always the most confident with their game? Or is it because the ninjas that know they got it feel they don't have to approach or try as hard with the courting tactics because they got it like that? But the ratio of losers and good ones is so damn unbalanced it ain't even funny. Makes me wanna walk down the street with a perma-scowl on my face sometimes so I won't be approachable (which would deter my chances to appear approachable to the yummy ones and then the losers would approach me anyway and ask me why I ain't smiling, so nevermind. lol).

i love hookah bars. so much that i went and bought my own. lol. i be on that mango guava. :-) there is a pretty nice hookah bar in adam's morgan. i can't remember the name of it though.

the tools need to just stop. i mean it comes a certain point when you know that a woman is blowing you off (i realize this early). at that point you need just let it go.

@ Cheekie - Because they have nothing to lose. For every ten women they bother, one gives in, or one is drunk enough...

@ Tunde - That's where we were at. In Adams Morgan at Soussi(?) They have an outdoor spot & an upstairs area. They serve liquor, which I noticed, quite a few don't... it was my second time doing hookah & I can see, I'll prob be a pro (hooked) at it shortly...I like the flavors....

i had a ball too..Im going to make some gay man my sex slave lol

Maybe Diva, you have something that draws them to you..the tools I mean..I dont know....tools suck

yeah thats the one. most of them don't serve alcohol (only beer).

if you haven't you need to try apple and grape as well. i think they taste even better when you start mixing flavors.

@ True - Don't you just love a good weekend???

A friend & I were talking a few weeks ago, and she thinks I give too many guys a chance, that I don't have a type and I should be more picky...this is the same chick who stays at home, with her pet and doesn't go out and wonders why she hasn't been meeting guys.

I think the Tools like me, because I give them a chance....just one though. But maybe no one gives them a chance. For the most part, they are "easy" on the eys. It's just I don't find out what Tools they are until after the first date....or after I'm sober...oh well!!! I'm not gonna stop drinking, but maybe I'll invest in the Tool Be Gone Radar!

lol...my ex would love her. He wants me to stay my tail home and look at the wall. Thats cause Im bad as heck and men flock to me (what can I say, I know my worth)

Most of the tools I encounter want a challenge out of me, thats why they keep calling...effing weirdos

get me a toolbegone radar too...that would make a good post actually..HOW TO SPOT A TOOL lol

So, what's with that 'hmmm' with Mr. Henry...

@ True...my version would be "how to spot a Tool when you're drink" ... comedy.

Tool Be Gone is on back order...

@ Blkbond - Mr. H & I go back and forth. When I don't pay him any attention, don't go out with him, or spend time with him, he's all about me...he loves it when I tease him and he likes it when I say NO, it makes him try harder. Then, he usually asks me why?

(This has been going on since college)

so the hmmmm, was pretty much for that
