Mushy

Sometimes when one is venting about the relationship (any type of relationship)....you think about all of things you dislike about that person...in actuality though, there are things that you like, which kinda makes you stick around. I decided to compile a list of the things Klein does or did, that kinda stick out. Warning...sappiness to follow...

On a couple of occasions after a long day of working, he massaged my feet (he even kissed them once...)

He brought me a pair of earrings just because he thought they looked like something I would wear.

He picked up dinner after I had yet another long day of dealing with client stuff...without me asking

He constantly tells me why he loves me

He remembers little things, like what I wore on our first date, what I had on when I visited his mom in the hospital, what I had on when we met. (hell I don’t even remember that stuff)

He loves playing in my hair (Pause...)

He carries my heavy stuff without me asking

He opens my car door (Every time, sometimes I forget to wait for him, and do it myself, but he’ll still come to my side of the door)

If I cook, he offers to wash the dishes (well, I only cooked like twice, so maybe this one doesn’t count that much)

He kisses me in the morning, (I’m thinking my breath smells like cotton candy or something, cause he never scrunches up his face)

He kisses the palms of my hand & my forehead (I don’t know why I like this, I just do)

He constantly tells me what a great woman I am

He loves smelling me (It’s actually kind of weird, but if he likes it, who am I to deny him the pleasure of smelling me???)

LOL @ Tunde. It is easy sometimes to focus on the negative but he seems like a good guy ( I'll withold final judgement til I meet him). This post means a lot coming from you because i know how you like your space and feel about "mushy" stuff.

So happy for you. Now if only you can turn his freak switch on.

Hey Diva,

Damn I miss a day I miss the world. This post was way mushier than I'd ever expect from you but I'm happy for you! It's nice when someone actually cares about you in that sort of storybook fashion. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and Klein.

Of course I will also send a silent prayer that he gets over his sex issues and lets you have your way with him. Oh and I'm so stealing the pb&j!

Hey everyone, thanks for the love... I almost wanted to take back everything I said, after we spent Wednesday night together, mostly arguing about religon and nakedness ... let's just say I'm pro nakedness & he's not!

Last night was better...

I've been reading your blog for a while and after this post I am really hoping this relationship will work out! It's clear he wants to make you happy and besides that it sounds like he is able to handle it when you argue. You're a strong woman and it sounds like he is an easygoing and hopefully reliable man who can balance that.

Klein sounds needy and overbearing, with an adolescent attitude towards women... especially after that disturbing BJ post. Normally I'd feel sorry for a guy whose love life is being surreptitiously converted to blog fodder, but in this case, not so much.

Ummmm, WOW. WOW. WOW.

Are you serious?! Forget about my China man, you should be the one chaining this amazing man to your radiator. He sounds awesome. Does he have brothers?

I hope this works for you because as they say these things will be the ones that get on your nerves if it goes bad. As long as the good outweighs the bad, you will be fine.

Quick Update: We had a fight, he's a crybaby, I'm going to Hawaii next week, and just paid for my trip to Jamaica in August...

oh and most importantly, POW lands today...let the debauchery begin! Shots, Shots, Shots...

Awww...cute. This guy I've been seeing often gives me foot massages (though I've begun to think that's his way of telling me he wants them, lol)...however, he isn't fond of helping me clean up after I cook for him....and to that end last night, a rift ensued and it's looking like it's going to lead to the demise of our relationship. This drama king had the nerve to tell me that I treat him like a slave....WHAT?!?!? LOL. *blank stare*
